Lynn Goldstein, a graduate of New York University with a MS in clinical nutrition, is a Registered Dietitian, certified by the Commission on Dietitians, a certified dietitian of New York, and a member of both the American Dietetics Association and the New York State Dietetic Association. Lynn is an active member of the Oncology and Complimentary Care Dietary Practice Group. Lynn has served as clinical dietitian at New York Presbyterian Hospital's in-patient care and Beth Israel's ALS Center for treatment of Lou Gehrig's Disease.
Lynn is a graduate of New York's Institute for Integrative Nutrition and is certified by the Association of Drugless Practitioners as a Holistic Health Counselor.
Lynn developed and runs a nutrition program at the Jay Monahan Center for Gastrointestinal Health, a center inspired by Katie Couric's fight against colon cancer, which has led her to develop talents as a nutrition educator with special focus on gastrointestinal health, cancer prevention and treatment.
Lynn can help you lose weight, combat disease, improve gastrointestinal health, improve sports performance or simply learn how to give your body what it needs. She will analyze your current diet and will create an eating plan to fit your lifestyle and achieve your goals. You will learn how to control portion sizes, understand food labels, eat out, shop at the market, and the ABC's of healthy cooking
Through private counseling sessions, Lynn can pinpoint dietary weaknesses and strengths and customize a nutrition plan for the individual to help achieve his or her personal goals. Lynn provides nutrition education and utilizes the behavioral approach to change dietary habits. Lynn can help you identify areas of your life that are out of balance that are contributing to unhealthy food choices and habits.
